1.1. This document constitutes a public offer of the FixLost service (hereinafter — the Service, fixlost.com) and defines the terms of providing corrupted file recovery services (hereinafter — the Services).
1.2. Acceptance of this offer occurs when a file is uploaded to the Service website. By uploading a file, you confirm that you have read and fully accept these terms.
1.3. The Service reserves the right to modify these terms. The current version is always available on this page.
2.1. The Service provides the user (hereinafter — the User) with the ability to automatically recover corrupted files of the following types:
2.2. The result of the Services is a recovered file available for download, or a notification that recovery was not possible.
3.1. At the current stage (beta version), the Services are provided free of charge.
3.2. The Service may introduce paid plans in the future, notifying Users in advance by posting information on the website.
4.1. The User uploads a corrupted file through the form on the website.
4.2. The Service automatically processes the file and attempts to recover it.
4.3. The recovered file is available for download within 1 hour after processing, after which it is automatically deleted.
4.4. Uploaded files are automatically deleted within 1 hour after upload.
4.5. Maximum upload file size is 2 GB.
5.1. The Service does not guarantee 100% recovery of all corrupted files. The result depends on the nature and extent of the damage.
5.2. The Service is provided "as is". The Service is not liable for any damages related to the use or inability to use the Services.
5.3. The Service is not responsible for the content of files uploaded by the User.
5.4. The User is solely responsible for maintaining backup copies of their files.
5.5. The Service operates in beta testing mode. Interruptions, errors, and functionality limitations are possible.
6.1. It is prohibited to upload files containing:
6.2. Upon discovery of prohibited content, the Service may block the User's access and report information to law enforcement authorities.
7.1. The Service does not view or analyze the content of uploaded files, except for automated technical processing for recovery purposes.
7.2. The Service collects minimal data: IP address (for security and abuse prevention), file type and size (for statistics).
7.3. If the User checks the "Save file to improve recovery algorithms" checkbox, the file may be stored for analysis and algorithm improvement. Otherwise, files are automatically deleted.

8.1. All rights to the Service, including code, design, and algorithms, belong to the Service administration.
8.2. Rights to uploaded files belong to the User. The Service does not claim ownership of user content.
9.1. The Service may suspend or terminate the provision of Services at any time without prior notice.
9.2. Disputes and disagreements shall be resolved through negotiations.
9.3. If any provision of this offer is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue to apply.
